TALENSI DISTRICT ASSEMBLY HANDS OVER SITE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF YAMERIGA E-BLOCK BOARDING FACILITIES
The Talensi District Assembly, in collaboration with the Upper East Regional Coordinating Council, has successfully held the handing-over ceremony for the construction of the Yameriga E-Block Boarding Facilities.
The ceremony was graced by the Upper East Regional Minister, Hon. Donatus Akamugri Atanga, the Member of Parliament for Talensi, Hon. Daniel Mahama, and the District Chief Executive, Hon. John Millim, together with key regional and district officials, project consultants, the contractor, traditional authorities, and members of the Yameriga community.
In their addresses, Hon. John Millim (DCE), Hon. Daniel Mahama (MP), and Hon. Donatus Akamugri Atanga (Regional Minister) all emphasized the importance of the project in improving access to quality education and enhancing academic performance in the district. They further assured the people of Yameriga of government’s commitment to ensuring the successful and timely completion of the project.
The Chief of Yameriga, together with his elders, expressed their profound gratitude for the project and pledged their utmost support and blessings to ensure its smooth execution and successful completion for the benefit of the community.

Administration Block Headmaster’s Bungalow Six Semi-Detached Bungalows for Staff Dining Hall Two Dormitory Blocks (Boys & Girls) Fence WallThe ceremony concluded with a sod-cutting, marking the official commencement of construction works.
