TALENSI DCE SIGNS CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MODERN 24-HOUR MARKET
Hon. John Millim Nabwomya, District Chief Executive for the Talensi District, has officially signed the contract for the construction of a modern 24-hour market for the district.
The signing ceremony, held on Wednesday, 6th May 2026 at the RCC Conference Room in Bolgatanga, was supervised by the Upper East Regional Minister, Akamugri Donatus Atanga, as part of government’s commitment to improving local economic infrastructure and promoting round-the-clock commercial activities across the region.
The proposed 24-hour market project is expected to boost local trade, create employment opportunities, enhance economic growth, and provide a modern trading environment for the hardworking people of Talensi.
