600 Dual Desks Ready for Distribution Across Talensi
The Talensi District Assembly is making steady progress in its efforts to address the shortage of furniture in schools across the District.
Following the Assembly’s earlier announcement on the procurement of 1,200 dual desks, the first batch of 600 dual desks has now been fully fitted and is ready for distribution to beneficiary schools in collaboration with the Talensi District Education Directorate.
The Assembly received the first 600 desks about a week ago, and the necessary fitting and preparations have since been completed. Distribution to schools will commence soon, while the Assembly awaits the delivery of the remaining 600 desks under the first batch.
This intervention forms part of the Assembly’s commitment to improving the learning environment for pupils and teachers across the District.
The Assembly will continue to procure additional school furniture to further address the existing gaps and ensure that pupils in Talensi have access to a more conducive environment for teaching and learning.
